為推動食農教育和環境教育,糖廠社區辦理DIY農村體驗活動,規劃屬於社區的特色體驗遊程。帶領遊客深入農村,體驗採果DIY、品嚐特色風味餐,更輔以專業導覽解說,讓遊客享受農村慢活。

農村社區導覽解說 Guided Tour of the Agricultural Park
社區派員實地導覽解說旗糖農創園區和社區環境,從旗山糖廠歷史由來、地理環境、糖業建設,到糖廠社區的環境教育等等,時間約為30至60分鐘,每場以40人為限,若超過人數需另外加場,社區將會加派導覽人員解說服務。

Community personnel provide on-site guided tours and explanations of the Cishan Agriculture Park and the community environment. The tour covers the historical origin of the Qisan Sugar Factory, its geographical setting, the development of the sugar industry, and environmental education in the Tangchang community. Each tour lasts approximately 30 to 60 minutes and is limited to 40 participants per session. Additional sessions will be arranged if the number of participants exceeds this limit.農事體驗下田採果(季節限定)

This is a banana pseudostem reusing DIY experience based on the concept of circular economy and re-utilization. Banana pseudostems are collected after peeling away their leaf sheaths. Planting trees to save the earth, join us to learn about the use of banana fibers with the concept of circular economy and reutilization. We are replacing traditional cotton rope with banana fiber yarn and entwining them with seed moss balls. The community utilizes the innermost part of the banana, the "banana pulp”, by manually chopping and grounding them into paper pulp. Visitors get to experience the wonder of papermaking by witnessing the transformation from banana pulp to banana handmade paper. 社區以大豆製成的豆腐,加入香蕉三個月自然發酵的蕉香豆腐乳,製作過程不添加化學添加物,讓遊客親手體驗在地物產製成的香蕉豆腐乳。

To make the banana-flavored fermented tofu, the community adds bananas to soybean tofu and allows it to naturally ferment for three months. No chemical additives are used throughout the production. 早期旗山居民為避免香蕉過熟浪費,農民將它製成香蕉包當作點心,提倡不浪費食物的概念。逢年過節祭祀的包仔,也以香蕉包替代。

To prevent food waste, the residents of Qishan used to turn overripe bananas into banana buns as snacks in the early days, supporting the concept of minimizing food waste. Banana buns were also substituted for conventional buns as offerings during New Year and major holidays.
